GaGà Milano main sponsor of team-italy powered by Stig

Gagà Milano, watchmaking company known for its creative genius and natural elegance, is back into the sea, this time as the main sponsor of Team-Italy Powered by Stig.
Gagà Milano wants to follow Alessandro Rombelli, Stig’s owner and helmsman, even in this new adventure, after a summer spent sailing on board Stig, the Baltic 72 Grand Prix, of which has supported the entire international competitive season.
Team-Italy Powered by Stig, gathering the best sailors under 25 from Italy, is the Italian challenge to Red Bull Youth America’s Cup: introduced one year ago in Venice and San Francisco, the race will enable younger sailors to gain the necessary experience to become leaders of an America’s Cup Team.
Yacht Club “Marina di Loano” will host the team from 5 to 15 February, to improve the training onboard Extreme 40 made available by Luna Rossa.
Gagà Milano has decided to support the challenge of Team-Italy Powered by Stig sharing its values and strategies, because it is an ambitious and successful project.
As the founder of Gagà Milano, Ruben Tomella, explains: “Our Company is young and already internationally successful, arising from a new idea, a real challenge about design and technology with wide use of materials as carbon, titanium and Kevlar, just like that one of Team-Italy. We measure time, another strong and meaningful element shared by Team-Italy Powered by Stig and us, who are always looking for the outcome of performance and excellence. ”
Red Bull Youth America’s Cup, planned for September 2013, will begin with a race selection (18-24 February) in San Francisco’s waters and its purpose is to ensure the best young talents for the event.
